McCarthy Toyota consists of 21 Toyota dealerships and 24 Automark dealerships in and around the main centres of South Africa. Each dealership covers the full range of Toyota passenger and light commercial vehicles. In addition there are 3 McCarthy Lexus dealerships, as well as 4 stand alone heavy truck dealerships and 2 heavy truck after sales outlets in Natal and Johannesburg selling and servicing Toyota medium, commercial and Hino heavy commercial trucks.

Toyota, as a responsible company that always puts its customers first, started a recall campaign internationally. Under extremely rare circumstances there has been in very isolated cases an issue with the accelerator pedal in some of our passenger vehicles. Toyota South Africa identified the Auris, Verso and Corolla affected locally and will, as a preventative measure, recall vehicles that may develop this condition. No Lexus models are involved.
As a precaution we in South Africa have launched a Special Service Campaign through our dealer network to do preventative maintenance on every vehicle that may conceivably be affected. This procedure will take less than an hour, is free and will not impact on your vehicle warranty or service plan in any way.
